About this vintage design furniture
This teak chest of drawers was designed by Johannes Sorth and manufactured by Nexø in Denmark in the 1960s. It has seven same-size drawers withs solid teak handles in a half-moon shape. A top drawer has an original locker. The key included. A beautiful wood grain that continues overall and a slightly forward frame around the drawers - Johannes Sorth’s s showcase - provide this unique, extraordinary look to the piece. The dresser stands on an original solid oak base. The dresser is in excellent vintage condition with minor traces of use. Additional dimensions: the drawer height: 10,5 cm Ground clearance: 26 cm on the sides and 19 cm in front

About the designer
Johannes SORTH
Johannes Sorth was a renowned Danish designer who was born in 1937 and died in 2017. He is best known for his work in industrial design, particularly for his elegant modern furniture designs. Sorth studied at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts in Copenhagen, graduating in 1963.
