About this vintage design furniture

This set of six lidded pots was created by French ceramist Mado Jolain. They are made from enameled ceramic and feature a cork lid. They are in excellent vintage condition, the larger one measures 13 x 16 cm, the medium ones measure 11 x 11 cm and the smaller ones 8 x 8 cm.

Mado Jolain (1921-2010) was a French designer specializing in patterns for upholstery fabrics and wallpapers. She began her career in the 1940s working for brands such as Bianchini-Férier and Lauer, where she created patterns for silk and cotton fabrics.
