About this vintage design furniture
A very rare floor lamp from the ‘Sun’ series, designed in 1955 by H. Busquet for Hala Zeist. H. Busquet often used simplified form and primary colour palette to create functional and playful designs. This floor lamp features a weighted base in lacquered steel with details in chrome plated brass. The pale green perforated aluminium lamp shade consists of two conical elements, the inner part can be rotated creating various diffused light effects. The lamp is Signed with applied manufacturer’s label to shade: Hala Zeist and remains in a very good original condition. Made in The Netherlands.
