About this vintage design furniture
Set of two cube lounge chairs designed by Radboud Van Beekum for Pastoe in the Netherlands in the 1980s. Pair of armchairs has a strong, graphical character. FM60 series armchairs. The metal frame is finished in black lacquer, the original thick upholstery in black leather is in sturdy used condition and shows a great patina.

About the designer
Radboud VAN BEEKUM
Radboud van Beekum was a Dutch industrial designer who was born in 1949 and died in 1991. He studied at the Arnhem Academy of Fine Arts in the Netherlands and began his career working for the famous Dutch designer Gerrit Rietveld.
