About this vintage design furniture

This armchair was designed in the 1960s by Alf Svensson and manufactured by Dux. The wooden frame of the armchair is made of solid teak and has been professionally and carefully restored by removing old coatings, staining and finishing with varnish and one cavity was refilled. The seat and backrest are upholstered anew with beige upholstery. The upholstery sponge was also replaced.

Alf Svensson is a Swedish designer born in 1937. He studied at the Gothenburg School of Art and Design and began his career working for furniture manufacturer DUX.
