About this vintage design furniture

Beautiful coffee table with double top in rosewood. Designed by arne hovmand olsen for the manufacturer mogens kold in the fifties. Its top is in teak with slight curves on its four edges, and its bottom top is in light colored woven cane. Some traces of time visible on the first tray.

About the designer

Egon A OLSEN

Egon A. Olsen was a Norwegian industrial designer who was born in 1922 and died in 2013. He studied design at the Oslo School of Applied Arts and began his career working for the industrial design firm Rastad & Relling Tegnekontor in the 1950s.
