About this vintage design furniture
This floor lamp was designed by Ernest Igl and produced by Hillebrand in Germany, during the 1950’s. It has tripod brass base, and the stem can be adjustable in height. The lampshade has a very unique design with a red lampshade on top, hold by brass stems, and below a perfurated off-white cone, that conceals the lamp. In very good and original condition. Shade Diameter: 44 cm Height: 140 to 165 cm

About the designer
Ernst IGL
Ernst Igl (1904-1997) was a German industrial designer known for his contributions to car and motorcycle design. He began his career as an apprentice in his father's machine-building workshop, before going on to study industrial design at the Munich School of Arts and Crafts.
