About this vintage design furniture

Beautiful pair of armchairs by the Danish designer and architect Arne Wahl Iversen and published by Komfort in the 1950s. Arne Wahl Iversen knew a great success during the 50s and 60s with his design of seats and desks. These Scandinavian armchairs are part of an established trend of midcentury furniture motivated by the Nordic countries. This pair is worked in teak with a beautiful apparent veining. This model of armchair is rich in movement. Whether it is the armrests, the legs, the backrest or the front crossbar, we appreciate a variety of interesting movements. The cushions have been completely redone, foam and upholstery. The fabric chosen is a white grey mottled contrasting elegantly with the shade of teak patina. The height of the seat is 43cm. A slight accident is almost invisible at the junction of an armrest and a foot. No impact on the stability of the chair.
