About this vintage design furniture
Nice table lamp designed by Holm Sørensen and Svend Aage Jensen in 1955 for Søholm, Denmark. The design is from their "Burgundia" series which was manufactured from 1955 to 1965.Measurements:Lamp height 25 cm without shadeLamp height with shade 49 cmLamp base width and depth 10 x 10 cmLight source E27 Edison screw.The lamp has been rewired with a European plug. To be checked by a local electrician before use. Brand new shade.

About the designer
Svend Aage HOLM SORENSEN
Holm Sorensen was a Danish designer known for his minimalist, functional creations. Born in 1938 in Frederiksberg, Denmark, he studied sculpture at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Copenhagen before turning to industrial design.
