About this vintage design furniture
This vintage chair in teak and new black leather upholstery is a classic example of Danish design combining perfect proportions with an elegant look. Designed by Erik Kirkegaard for Glostrup, it comes from the 60s. The seating and backrest were reupholstered with soft black leather. The teak frame and base are original, made of solid teak. Wood was polished and treated with oil and retains its natural, beautiful appearance. About the designer
Erik KIRKEGAARD
Erik Kirkegaard (1925-1982) was a Danish designer known for his work on wooden and rattan furniture. He studied at the Royal Danish School of Fine Arts in Copenhagen and worked for several Danish furniture manufacturers.
