About this vintage design furniture
Original cantilever chair model 2011 designed by Toon de Wit for Gebr. De Wit in the 1950s. This chair has been reupholstered once and the blue upholstery (blue Manchester corduroy) and foam are still in very good condition. The chrome frame has some traces of use and wear. The company De Wit N.V. from Schiedam was founded after the war by two brothers, Toon and Martien de Wit (Toon was the designer). They made quality tubular furniture and made various models for Gispen for a period. Dimensions: h x w x d 86 x 45 x 54 cm and the seat height is 47 cm.
