About this vintage design furniture

Martin Visser sofa BZ53 designed by Martin Visser for ‘t Spectrum in 1964. This is a mid-century version was bought in the sixties and has a square tubular frame. Model BZ53 is the smaller fixed version of the Martin Visser sofa – bed (Br02 en BR03) and has been reupholstered with black melange spirit 96 fabric. Very wear-resistant fabric suitable for very intensive sitting use, highest category (wear resistance 100,000 rpm Martindale). This version, the BZ53, has a fixed seat (no folding seat) and is 160 cm wide. Dimensions: h x w x d 69 x 160 x 81 cm. The seat height 39 cm. Source: book ‘t Spectrum page 75. This model was made from 1964 to 1971.
