About this vintage design furniture
"Stella Polaris" crystal bowl designed by Vicke Lindstrand and manufactured by Orrefors (Sweden) in the 1970s. The star-shaped diffusion of light is responsible for the name of the series. Icy glacial blue colour. Quite heavy (1.2 kg). Etched on bottom "Orrefors" . Height: 5.5 cm. Diameter: 16 cm. Very good vintage condition. Minor scratches from use.

Vicke LINDSTRAND
Vicke Lindstrand was a Swedish designer and artist born on June 17, 1904 in Malmö, Sweden, and died on October 7, 1983 in Kosta, Sweden. He is best known for his work as a glass designer for the Swedish company Orrefors.
