About this vintage design furniture

A nice sleeping sofa designed by Martin Visser, manufactured by Spectrum in the Netherlands around 1960. This beautiful piece is made of high quality chrome plated and black lacquered metal and has new upholstery. The new light brown beige fabric fits the piece perfectly The seating depth can easily be extended by raising and pulling out the seat, after which it can be used as a sleeping bed. This is an innovative piece and a true icon of Dutch mid-century design It remains in very good, vintage condition with minor wear consistent with age and use, preserving a beautiful patina.
