Swedish vintage crystal glass and brass table lamp by Olle Alberius for Orrefors, 1970s

Lovely glass and brass table lamp model designed by Olle Alberius for the Swedish glasswork company Orrefors in the 1970s. This lamp is made of crystal glass with a twirly look on a brass foot base. The lamp is heavy with an elegante shape and cylinder design. Gives a lovely shine when lit. Marked with Orrefors logo. Measures: 33 cmH (incl bulb socket) x 11.5 cmD. Very good vintage condition. Lampshade is not included. Carl Fagerlund (1915-2011) was a talented Swedish lighting designer working at Orrefors glassworks between 1946-1980. He achieved great success with lighting systems for General Motors and the Kennedy Center in the United States.
