The frame and backrest are made of vertical slats of Rio Rosewood for a comfortable and very elegant curvature. 8 chairs of the same model are available on another listing to make a complete dining set. About the designer
Niels KOEFOED
Koefoed is the name of a Danish design company founded in 1958 by Koefoed Larsen and his wife, Hanne Kjærholm. Koefoed Larsen, born in 1926 in Hobro, Denmark, studied carpentry and design at the Copenhagen School of Design.
