About this vintage design furniture
This high board was made in the 1960s by the renowned Danish manufacturer Westergaards Møbelfabrik. It was designed by Danish design icon Børge Seindal.The frame is covered with a teak veneer. The legs and handles are made of solid wood. Surface after refreshment. Inside, the space has been filled with four practical shelves and four drawers, the shelves are adjustable in height. Inside there is also a bar with a decorative mirror and practical drawers. Highboard has a practical solution of sliding doors, thanks to which we reduce the need to leave a large free space in front of the furniture, without restricting access to the interior. In addition, the sliding door is the ideal solution for using the furniture for audio equipment.Condition: The surface of the chest of drawers after refreshment. Small visible scratches and veneer losses filled in. Larger traces of use are still shown in the photos. The product is ready to be used. For safety reasons, the chest of drawers for transport may have unscrewed legs, sliding doors and shelves torn off. The assembly should not be a problem. About the designer
Borge SEINDAL
Børge Seindal is a Dutch designer known for his elegant, minimalist furniture and design objects. Born in 1947, he studied carpentry at the Copenhagen School of Design in Denmark, before moving to the Netherlands in the 1970s.
