Vintage FH4103 beechwood & teak heart chair by Hans Wegner for Fritz Hansen, 1950s
About this vintage design furniture
Originally designed by Hans Wegner in the 1950s, the FH4103 was manufactured by Fritz Hansen and sold in London by Story’s of Kensington. Constructed from beech and teak wood, the FH4103 chairs are also known as the ‘heart’ chairs, due to their silhouette. With three legs set out in a triangular shape, the chairs have flat wooden seats and curved backrests, which allows the chairs to stack. An iconic mid-century design, these chairs are perfect for a contemporary dining room or kitchen and can be stacked away as a space saving storage solution.
