About this vintage design furniture
Charming small furniture made by Jules Leleu (1883-1961) famous French Designer of the Art Deco period. This decorator and cabinetmaker of legend, knew how to ally Elegance and Luxury in a purified style. This Quality Furniture in Sycamore with Refined Lines presents on its top a Tray surrounded by a half-round Brass Rush and Angles in Spring. Circular in shape, they perfectly fit the Columns which rest on Turned Legs ending with Brass Shoes. On the front, a pretty drawer decorated with a Diamond Marquetry and a Bronze Pull Knob with a singular shape, reveals the signature of the Designer. In the center, an Open Niche in Lemonwood provides spacious Storage, and on the back a Serial Number is engraved. With its soft Color and the Harmony of its forms, this small piece of furniture of Living room will be integrated Harmoniously into your Decoration. Era: 1950 Excellent condition. Jules Leleu (1883-1961) was a French interior designer and decorator famous for his Art Deco style. Born in Boulogne-sur-Mer, he began his career working in his father's decorating business before setting up his own firm in 1919.
