About this vintage design furniture
The idea behind Zurigo was to undress a traditional sofa, to make the construction visible and to make it as filigree as possible. The simple but heavy cushions seem to hover on it. I would never have thought that so little material would be required. Today this transparency, this sketchy quality, often forms an important theme and serves as the basis for the Haberli ideas.
