Vintage Kuben desk lamp by Björn Svensson for Elidus Sweden 1970s

The Swedish classic from the 1970s "Kuben" (Swedish for cube) by Björn Svensson from the well-known lamp manufacturer Elidus. This best-selling Scandinavian desk lamp has been produced in a wide variety of colours. This is a red version with the silver plastic front grill (frame) in perfect condition. Chrome gooseneck well preserved and fully functional. The lamp has some discoloration of the lacquer on the top, as can be seen in a picture. The damage is well reflected in the price. This lamp is in 95 of the online descriptions attributed to designer Hans-Agne Jakobsson. This seems to be an endless and widespread mistake. Jakobsson was not involved in the creation of this lamp.
