About this vintage design furniture
- Luxury swivel armchair, very attractive and comfortable, with matching footstool. - Designed by the famous architectural duo Acton Schubell and IB Madsen and produced by Bovenkamp in the 1970s. - This piece is a well-known and well-documented model in the general design literature (it looks very much like the "De Sede - James Bond" model). - The chair and ottoman sit on an elegant star metal swivel base with rosewood inserts and are signed, numbered and stamped in the steel at the base. - Beautiful liver colored patinated buffalo leather in very good condition, minimal signs of wear. - Cushions with hand sewn leather bands. - The backrest is adjustable in four positions with a tilt function that can be locked and unlocked with a lower lever. The hocker is also adjustable in four positions with a very easy to handle system. - The chair and footstool have been cleaned and newly waxed.
