About this vintage design furniture
White hanging lamp with ball optic from the mid 1950s. Its made from opaline glass and the lamp is hanging on the cable. Lighting: E27. The cable is really long and can be used for a "Swing". It can also be shortened, if necessary. The Lamp is fully working, good vintage condition.

About the designer
Alois Ferdinand GANGKOFNER
Alois Ferdinand Gangkofner (1920-2003) was a German designer and master glassmaker. Born in Bavaria, Gangkofner studied at the Zwiesel glass school and then worked as an assistant in several glass studios in Germany. In 1949, he became artistic director of the glass company Peill & Putzler in Düren, where he created many modern and innovative glass pieces.
