About this vintage design furniture

Rare steel tube dining table by Danish manufacturer Fritz Hansen in the 1930s. The production of steel tube furniture from Fritz Hansen was very short and was only from 1932 to 1936 because of a court case which meant that you could not have copyright on any steel tube furniture, this has resulted in very small amount of Fritz Hansen steel tube furniture was ever produced. In the period 1932 to 1936 a lot of well known architects like Frits Schlegel, Mogens Lassen and Mart Stam produced furniture for Fritz Hansen. This table is in good condition with signs of use in the form of small chips in the black lacquer.
