About this vintage design furniture
Rare Fritz Hansen steel tube benchsofa from the 1930s, the production of steel tube furniture in Denmark was very short because of a court case in 1936 which ended the production and means that the amount of steel tube furniture produced is very limited. In this period Fritz Hansen had well known modernist architects like Frits Schlegel, Mogens Lassen and Mart Stam working for them, this bench has a lot of the same details as some of the steel tube chairs that Mart Stam designed for Fritz Hansen. The bench is in good condition with few signs of use.
