About this vintage design furniture
Desk lamp by the Danish architect Vilhelm Lauritzen for the railway company “DSB” therefore the lamp is known as Konduktørlampen Conductor’s lamp. Vilhelm Lauritzen was one of the pioneers of modernism in Denmark together with architects like Frits Schlegel, Kaj Gottlob, Kay Fisker and Arne Jacobsen and was heavily influenced by the Bauhaus school. The lamp is one of the early models with the switch on the foot of the lamp.
