About this vintage design furniture

An eye-catching set of “Seconda” dining chairs, designed by Mario Botta and manufactured by Alias in Italy around 1980. A unique design that was inspired by Botta’s experience in architecture, combining unique structures and shapes to create a beautiful and balanced chair Made of black lacquered metal with a foam cushion to the backrest. The design is often described as the rationalist response to the Memphis movement, which makes sense looking at the unique style of the pieces. Only sold as a set of four. The set remains in very good, vintage condition with minor wear consistent with age and use, preserving a beautiful patina
