About this vintage design furniture
Potential wall lamp by René Mathieu, for Lunel France, circa 1950. Double articulated arm and orientable thanks to its ball joint at the base of the lamp part, very elegant, in brass and black metal. Lampshade in light blue and black vinyl strips. Works perfectly. Dimensions: extended to the maximum: 107 cm. Lampshade diameter 38 cm. H base near the wall: 18 cm.

About the designer
René MATHIEU
René Mathieu was a French designer born in Nancy in 1905 and died in 1969. He studied at the École des Beaux-Arts in Nancy before moving to Paris to work as a theater decorator. He also worked for Galeries Lafayette, where he was responsible for creating window displays and exhibition stands.
