About this vintage design furniture
Danish dining table with six butterfly chairs designed by Arne Jacobsen, Bruno Mathsson and Piet Hein for Fritz Hansen in 1960. This set is suitable for 4 to 6 people and was bought by the first owner in the 1970s. The white round laminated top has an aluminium edge and was designed by Bruno Mathsson and Piet Hein. The star base (of the table) and the butterfly chairs were designed by Arne Jacobsen. The condition is very good with some normal signs of wear and tear from use; some chairs have small paint damage (see pictures). The chairs are stackable and the black floor caps of the chairs have been renewed with original Fitz Hansen floor caps. Material: aluminum, chromed metal and (laminated) wood. Colour: white, silver and copper brown. Dimensions table: h x w 70 x 115 cm and the diameter of the tabletop is 122 cm. Dimensions chairs: h x w x d 78 x 50 x 51 cm and the seat height is 43 cm.
