About this vintage design furniture
Pair of wall – mounted night stands designed by Nils Jonsson. Made by Troeds in Sweden during the 1950s. Made from teak with black laminate background. Box joint construction. Very good vintage condition with signs of wear and age related patina.

About the designer
Nils JONSSON
Nils Jonsson was a Swedish designer who was born in 1927 and died in 2017. He began his career working for a Swedish furniture manufacturer in the 1950s, where he designed solid wood furniture with clean, modern lines. He then founded his own company, Nils Jonsson Möbelfabrik, in 1958, which became famous for its high-end teak furniture.
