About this vintage design furniture
The Hydra chrome floor or table lamp was designed by Pierre Folie and manufactured in France in 1969 by Jacques Charpentier. This striking lamp has five directional branches that can be position in a multitude of positions and directions to achieve the perfect lighting. The chrome is in very good condition with no fading.

About the designer
Pierre FOLIE
Pierre Folie is a French designer known for his stainless steel furniture and lighting creations. He was born in Paris in 1930 and studied at the École Boulle before starting his design career in the 1950s. He has worked for several French design companies, including Airborne, Charron and Steiner.
