About this vintage design furniture
An extremely elegant and beautifully detailed side or lamp table designed by Tove & Edvard Kindt Larsen for France & Son, Denmark. This design showcases the incredible craftsmanship and quality of France & Son products at the time. The slatted under tier is not laid out on a flat horizontal plane but has a very gentle upward curve at each end which is a very pleasing detail. Entirely executed in solid teak with wonderful grain character to the surface. This example offered in excellent condition with an early France & Son makers medallion to the underside dating this to the mid to late 50’s.
