About this vintage design furniture
Born in Helsinki in 1932 Eero Aarnio studied interior and industrial design and worked for Tapiovaara and Asko before launching his own studio. His work has been used a lot in films, videos and fashion shoots. Aarnio won several awards and is shown in a lot of musea arround the world. Up to today he is still practicing from his studio in Helsinki. The flamingo sideboard is probably most well known as a complete dining room set, together with a dining table and matching chairs. Beautiful white lacquered wood in original condition.
