Danish libraries A high quality bookcase made by Johannes Sorth for Bornholm Møbelfabrik, circa 1960. It is made of rosewood with a very striking detailed wood grain. The whole bookcase stands on splayed ebonized wood legs. It has adjustable shelves. Dimensions (cm): 100 W x 28 D x 121 H Condition: Very good - minimal signs of age and use.

About the designer
Johannes SORTH
Johannes Sorth was a renowned Danish designer who was born in 1937 and died in 2017. He is best known for his work in industrial design, particularly for his elegant modern furniture designs. Sorth studied at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts in Copenhagen, graduating in 1963.
