About this vintage design furniture
Kengu leather armchair with footrest designed by Elsa and Nordahl Solheim for the Norwegian company Rybo Rykken & Co in the 1960s. Soft leather seat mounted on a linen material supporting by leather straps. Very good condition, visible in the pictures slight abrasions to the wood under the armrest and signs of wear on the bottom of the wooden legs. The skin is in a state without holes or abrasions.

Elsa Solheim and Nordahl Solheim are two Norwegian designers who worked together under the name Solheim Design Studio. Elsa Solheim was born in 1922 and died in 2012, while Nordahl Solheim was born in 1919 and died in 2014.
