About this vintage design furniture
High-back "Supporto" desk chair from the 1970s, designed by Frederick Scott for Hille. Cast polished aluminium frame and five star base with castors. Comes with black leather upholstery. The seat height is adjustable via a pneumatic safety spring. The seat back is also adjustable for rake and can be locked in any position.

About the designer
Frederik SCOTT
Frederick Scott was a British industrial designer born on July 14, 1942. He studied at the University of Newcastle upon Tyne, graduating in Industrial Design in 1965. After working briefly for a design firm in London, he moved to Canada in 1966 to work for furniture manufacturer Deilcraft.
