A lovely candle light holder pair of brutalist wall lights designed in the 1960’s by Svend Aage Holm Sørensen for company Holm Sørensen & Co. Denmark. Wall candle holders with an acid-treated and torch-cut brustalistic brass design. Gives a lovely and magic shine when candles are lit. Marked with Holm Sørensen & Co AS. Nr 7164. Size: 40 cmH, 20 cmW and 11cmD. Good vintage condition. Svend Aage Holm Sørensen is a Scandinavian designer who is more Mediterranean in his expressions, though he is a Dane. Holm Sørensen lamps has a typically retro expression around 1950-60´s, and the lamps in the United States, Italy and France were slightly more sculpted, outrageous or funny and not just as fine serene as Arne Jacobsens lamps.
