About this vintage design furniture
A rare pair of Jean-Claude Mahey vintage side tables or pieces of sofa for Romeo Paris made in the 1970s. Entirely black lacquered, with a large brass top, these tables have a very nice presence. Both signed, with a large drawer, they have been fully restored and cleaned, and are in superb condition.

About the designer
Jean-Claude MAHEY
Mahey is a French designer born in Paris in 1937. He studied at the École nationale supérieure des arts décoratifs in Paris and began his career working for designer Jacques Adnet. He then opened his own design studio in 1968.
