About this vintage design furniture
60s Rob Parry 1st edition ‘Lotus’ fauteuil for Gelderland. Parry designed more than 40 different models of chairs. He designed the Lotus between 1950 and 1952. It is an airy, almost linear design with wooden side panels and a thin metal tube that was characteristic of the time. The great seating comfort was created by the use of springs and webbing. This original lotus armchair is in original and very good condition passed with age and use.
