About this vintage design furniture
Old and rare Danish armchair in solid teak and original natural leather by architect Mogens Lassen for the Danish cabinetmaker Thorald Madsen. Prensented at the Copenhagen cabinetmakers guild 1953 as a part of the interior „The Den of Mr. Penn, the editor“ Nice original condition and beautiful patina On the backrest with one old restauration (see photo). In original condition, with one old restauration on the leather at backrest.

About the designer
Peter J. Lassen
Peter J. Lassen was a Danish designer who was born in 1930 and died in 2019. He studied architecture at the Copenhagen School of Architecture and began his career working for the Fritz Hansen furniture company. In 1969, he founded Montana Furniture, specialized in the production of modular storage systems.
