About this vintage design furniture

This lamp was designed by Andre Ricard and produced by METALARTE for the reading room of the Library of Barcelona. A few years later METALARTE launched another taller model (last picture), based on this one, but with significant differences. The original model is this one. The shade slides for both sides, always keeping the light low. Marked by maker.
