About this vintage design furniture
Rare bench by the danish designer Søren Hansen son of Fritz Hansen. This is the version from 1969 in white lacquered beechwood. The bench has new upholstery in wool from Greenland. The bench was originally designed in 19391940 and was redesigned in 1969 in a high back version in white lacquered beechwood. The bench is in good condition with light signs of use.

About the designer
Søren HANSEN
Søren Hansen was a Danish designer who was born in 1922 and died in 2005. He studied at the Royal Danish School of Fine Arts in Copenhagen and began his career working as an apprentice to Arne Jacobsen, one of the most influential designers of the 20th century.
