About this vintage design furniture

This mid-century display case called “Television” was designed by world-renowned Czechoslovak architect Jindřich Halabala in 1947 and it was manufactured in UP závody Brno in a limited edition for only two years since 1946. This is an extremely successful piece of design. Rounded edges along the sides of the sideboard, tapered – angled legs, chess pattern on walnut veneer. – Top compartment with sliding glass doors and single glass shelf – Bottom compartment featuring two hinged doors with internal drawers and shelves. In very good Vintage condition, in two places has a small chip, but not disturbing.
