About this vintage design furniture
Original, comfortable and large ‘Rock’ lounge chair in tan or cognac coloured aniline leather, designed by Gerard Van Den Berg for Dutch furniture producer Montis in 1970. This piece is completely restored. New fillings and a new high quality upholstery, Ohmann leather. This eye catching piece is a great example of Brutalist and Modern vintage design. Seat height: 37cm

About the designer
Gerard VAN DER BERG
Gerrit (Gerard) Van Der Berg (1947-2011) was a Dutch designer known for his modern, functional furniture creations. He studied at the Rotterdam Academy of Fine Arts and began his career as an industrial designer at Gispen, a Dutch furniture company.
