About this vintage design furniture
Swedish vintage candle holder in brass featuring 4 small sized (1213mm 0.5 inch) candle holders. This pieces was designed by Pierre Forssell for Skultuna Sweden, late 50s beginning of the 60s. Mark brand present. This model no. 69 is made of solid brass and in very good condition. We have polished the brass softly, only very light traces of use left. The famous silver-smith Pierre Forssell worked as an in-house designer at Skultuna between 1955-1986. His designs are very much characterised as Scandinavian: strict and contemporary in style. His designs are, even today, a modern and elegant piece of home accessory.

About the designer
Pierre FORSELL
Pierre Forsell was a Swedish industrial designer born in 1925 and died in 2004. He studied at the Stockholm School of Arts and Crafts and began his career as a designer with Bobergs, a Swedish interior design company. In 1955, he joined the renowned Swedish design company Skultuna Messingsbruk AB as Art Director, where he worked for almost 25 years.
