Alfred Cox's mid-century chest of drawers Alfred Cox for Heals Chest of drawers in walnut on raised flared legs, this object was made by a cabinetmaker of great collection. Alfred Cox was a great post-war British furniture designer. He worked mainly with walnut and teak, designing and producing quality items of superb craftsmanship that are in great demand today. Many Alfred Cox furniture has been sold by the quality department stores Heals, Harrods, Maples & Co etc. Dimensions : 114 cm high x 47 cm deep x 86 cm wide Condition: In excellent condition, with extremely minor age-appropriate wear.

Alfred COX
Alfred Cox was an English furniture designer who worked in the 1950s and 1960s. Born in 1912, Cox began his career as a cabinetmaker's apprentice with his father before moving into furniture design in the 1930s.
