About this vintage design furniture
Floris H. Fiedeldij was an entrepreneur who, for several decades, managed to convert his talent for designing furniture and lighting objects trained at the Hague Academy of Visual Arts and the TH-Delft into sales success with hard work. His subjects were made at Artimeta in Soest in the Netherlands. Fiedelde was mainly inspired by French designers such as Serge Mouille and Mathieu Mategot. For example, Artimeta also imported and produced many products from and for Mategot, of which Artimeta had bought the rights. This nesting- or side tables are orginal 1950s. Over the years they have been repainted which gives them the vintage look.
