About this vintage design furniture
A swing arm wall lamp with a simple yet ingenious balance system that allows the shade to be adjusted in height and depth. Dutch modernist design at its best, this lamp was designed in 1950 by Willem Hagoort. The nice combination of teak and nickel plated steel, with a white lacquered lamp shade turns this into a timeless piece. The condition is very good with only light traces of wear. This model 26.621 arc wall lamp is made in the Netherlands.

Willem Hagoort is a Dutch designer, born in 1947 in Oosterhout. He studied at the Rotterdam Academy of Fine Arts and began his career in industrial design in the 1970s.
