About this vintage design furniture
Very large executive desk, model AP 137, with two large storage compartments and back plate. Midcentury Dutch designers Hein Salomonsson and Theo Tempelman designed this heavy desk for furniture manufacturer AP Polak (also known as the AP Originals label) in the beginning of the 1960s. The double legged chromed frame carriers the top and holds the storage compartments in place. All wood elements are executed in a very high quality teak veneered wood. The storage consists of a left element with 3 drawers, and the right element with 2 drawers, of which one is a ’hanging file’ cabinet. There are no large traces of use. The top has some light traces, as shown on photo. But no distracting scratches, or broken or torn parts. All is well executed, stable and well constructed. All parts (2x chromed feet, top, 2x storage compartments and back plate) can be dismantled for shipment, in case the dooropening isn’t wide enough for delivery.Very large executive desk, model AP 137, with two large storage compartments and back plate.
