About this vintage design furniture

Signed sommerso glass vase by Vicke Lindstrand for Kosta (Sweden), 1950s. Blue colour encased in pale grey layer and surrounded by clear glass. Height: 17 cm. Width: 8 cm. Depth: 6 cm. Colours: blue, pale grey and clear. Signed and numbered to the base: ’Kosta LH 1826’. Original label still intact. Very good vintage condition.

Vicke Lindstrand was a Swedish designer and artist born on June 17, 1904 in Malmö, Sweden, and died on October 7, 1983 in Kosta, Sweden. He is best known for his work as a glass designer for the Swedish company Orrefors.
